These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Nyla: Shared Family Organizer (the "App") operated by Vital Rain Studios LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to create a parent account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Child accounts are created and managed by parent account holders. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose of family coordination and planning. You may not:
Free Tier: Nyla Free provides access to core features including basic calendar, limited village members, and task lists at no charge.
Premium Tier: Nyla Premium is available as a monthly or annual subscription, billed through Apple's in-app purchase system. Prices are displayed in the App before purchase.
Free Trials: New subscribers may be eligible for a free trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
Promotional Codes: Promotional codes grant access as described at the time of redemption. Lifetime promotional access remains valid as long as your account is active.
The App includes Pip, an AI-powered family assistant. Pip provides scheduling suggestions, family insights, and can create calendar events on your behalf. Pip's responses are generated by artificial intelligence and may not always be accurate. You should verify important information independently. We are not responsible for actions taken based on Pip's suggestions.
When you invite members to your village (helpers, co-parents, sitters), you control what information they can access. You are responsible for ensuring that the people you invite to your village are trusted individuals. We are not responsible for how village members use the information shared with them through the App.
The App, including its design, features, content, and branding, is owned by Vital Rain Studios LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. Your content (calendar entries, family data, photos) remains yours. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the service.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements. The App is a coordination tool and is not a substitute for direct communication about child safety, medical emergencies, or other critical family matters.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vital Rain Studios LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by emailing hello@nyla.co. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Montgomery County, Texas.
